MckLinky BlogHop Favorite Recipe

Ok now here is one I can get in to! I love food and LOVE to cook! Most often I am asked to make chicken crescents, I don't have a picture but next time I make them I will take a picture (if they aren't gone before I get my camera out) Seriously they are so good my husbands family fight over who gets the last one!

Chicken crescents (makes 4)

2 large boneless skinless chicken breast chopped up in bite size pieces (cooked how you like I typically boil mine)
1 can refrigerator crescent rolls
1 pack of cream cheese (softened)
half of an onion chopped up
bread crumbs
butter
(seasonings Salt, Pepper, and Garlic powder season as you like I tend to go a touch more with garlic)

Pre-heat your oven to the directed heat on the crescent roll package. In a large mixing bowl mix cream cheese onion seasonings and chicken together. Set aside. Open the crescent rolls and unroll them and separate them leaving them together so you have 4 rectangles ( most crescent rolls come in a pack of 8 so what you are going to do is pinch together the 2 triangles to make a rectangle. You will do this 4 times)
once you have 4 rectangles you will take a heaping spoon full of the cream cheese mixture and spoon it on to the 4 rectangles . Now you will take the opposite corners and pinch them together across the top of the cream cheese mixture this will make a pouch (seal the edges very well you don't want your filling to leak out)
Melt butter and place in a shallow dish and also put some bread crumbs in a shallow dish. dip your pouch in to the butter and then in bread crumbs.( do this for all 4) place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown!
I normally serve with green beans or a nice salad. I hope you enjoy!

* We have been talking about how yummy these would be if we made them with crab meat*
Let me know if you try this and how you like it. Every one who has tried them LOVE them!

Thanks for stopping by!
