Adlie is 10 months old!

Well today our little monkey is 10 months old. What is she up to you ask? Oh she is up to a lot so get ready because here we go!

  • You are still breastfeeding

  • You are in size 3 diapers

  • You sleep 12 hours a night

  • You wear some 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes

  • You now have 8 teeth (top and bottom 4)

  • You can stand alone

  • You have taken many steps but are not ready to walk just yet

  • You clap

  • You wave when we say hi to you

  • You have started eating table food (but still eat baby foods too)

  • You only sit still when you are sleeping

  • You get so so excited to see your daddy when he comes home from work

  • You like to watch the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

  • You have started hating getting in to the car seat

  • You stood up in a grocery cart so now we strap you in extra tight

  • You can clearly say Mama Dada and Hey

  • You learned how to click with your tongue

  • You are starting to say the k sound so we think Kitty will be a new word soon!

  • You are climbing on everything!

You are such a busy busy baby now and you are in to everything but we love you and wouldn't change it in any way!

We Won!

Do you all remember when I blogged about a giveaway on Jen's blog? Well if not go here! We won and on Wednesday we got a package from Celeste and Co.! I opened the box and was so so excited to put Adlie in her new red sequined flower headband! She looks so cute in it and the best part is the flower is removable so she can wear just the flower (which does stay in her hair even though she doesn't have that much of it! I already told Matt that I need to make an order in a few weeks to fill Adlie's stocking for Christmas and get a few for Mieka (my niece).
I love this picture she was not happy while I tried to take her picture!
So I gave her marshmallows to get a few good pictures
(see she has very little hair but this sticks and stays in. We went shopping and to Lowes and it stayed in her hair the entire time!)

Not me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Here we go!

I did NOT leave Adlie "caged in " in the living room to come back to find her sitting on the raised edge of the fireplace nope NOT me I would not do that and she is not climbing!

I did NOT give Adlie a small bowl of marshmallows while we were in Hobby Lobby and then proceed to pick up every single marshmallow off of the floor...

I did NOT let Adlie have mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, and a few bites of a biscuit (from KFC) and she did NOT love every single bite of it! WOOO HOOO we are moving on to table food!!!!

I did NOT carve our pumpkin with one of the video games we play * though I did and here is a picture to prove it*

We do NOT still have the dead fish hanging on the wall because I am NOT to lazy to find him a new home.

There you have it I hope you enjoyed it and come back soon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy 1st Heavenly Birthday Isaiah...

A year ago today my dear friend K and her husband D lovingly welcomed their first child, a son, who was born in to the arms of Jesus at that same moment. Over the last year I have come to know and love K dearly. She is such a sweet person and I am glad to call her my friend. It is nice that our hubbys get along really well too. On Isaiah's 6 month birthday we lit a candle for him and again we did the same today. When I get to the store to get a balloon I will attach a note and let that go for him too.
Isaiah's 6 month Heavenly Birthday.
Isaiah's 1st Heavenly Birthday.
Isaiah's mom K is working on a chapter of Threads of Love in memory of her sweet little boy. Threads of Love is a group of people who sew blankets , hats, and gowns for stillborn or premature babies. I have yet to start on my work but Isaiah's mom K has been very busy and she is doing a great job on getting started. I know Isaiah would be very proud of her and he is lucky to have such a great mommy and daddy.

If you want to know more about Threads of Love please feel free to email me.(SarahMerritt_22atyahoodotcom)

I took these while on vacation in Florida this summer.

Watermark Glory Baby
Glory baby you slipped away as fast as we could say baby…baby.. You were growing, what happened dear? You disappeared on us baby…baby.. Heaven will hold you before we do Heaven will keep you safe until we’re home with you… Until we’re home with you…
Miss you everyday Miss you in every way But we know there’s a day when we will hold you We will hold you You’ll kiss our tears away When we’re home to stay Can’t wait for the day when we will see you We will see you But baby let sweet Jesus hold you‘till mom and dad can hold you… You’ll just have heaven before we do You’ll just have heaven before we do
Sweet little babies, it’s hard to understand it ‘cause we’re hurting We are hurting But there is healing And we know we’re stronger people through the growing And in knowing- That all things work together for our good And God works His purposes just like He said He would… Just like He said He would…
BRIDGE: I can’t imagine heaven’s lullabies and what they must sound like But I will rest in knowing, heaven is your home And it’s all you’ll ever know…all you’ll ever know…
